yea it has reduced quite a bit. The first day was scary though. And the sound is too good

Got the RPI on my 550i too... totally awsome!!!
Yes, a little drone in the begining, for those with auto tranny, drive in DS model, do the manual shift and keep it above 2000 rpm... love it!!

hey did you ever adjust the pipes? change the hangers? let us know..i think everyones here took either a few adjustments or we just flat out bouught different hangers at pep boys or something..

No, didn't adjust it but just because i've been too busy (and too lazy when i'm not busy). The droning is significantly less and once you get used to it, its perfect. The exhaust is definitely a head turner and it's been appreciated by a lot of people except my mother haha
