Looking for any information on the RPI air box mod they sell for around 200$ Is it worth it, Im not expecting silly gains but its cheap anyways, thanks

RPI mods are much worth it, and we have the scoops in stock as well

If you mean the scoop, GET IT!!! I love my scoop, can feel (even if it's only my butt dyno) more power at 60+ MPH.

yeh the scoop deal, Im on it. easy install?, I did a cold air intake on my 99 m3 from bavauto sport and totally noticed it above 50mph, sound was cool for car and its day. I ll keep ya posted when I get it set up

It's much easier than a full CAI install, Joe from Trinity did mine in about 5 mins - literally. I think it took longer for me to pop the hood than it took him to install.

yes thats the package I was refering to. Im on it and will contact Member Mich for this situation that has been ironed out in like twenty mins. thanks yall, forum to the rescue again

So the BMC filter replaces the regular filter in the airbox (lower half). What about the 2nd filter in the top half of the airbox?? Do people remove this, and does it help at all??

Yep, get rid of it, it does help air flow a little if you do. What you are talking about is the Charcoal filter and it's pretty worthless.

Does the Scoop provide any gains if you keep the stock air filter? What about a K&N replacement?
