I'm planning my brake service which is about 8000km out at the moment. I'm not sure what to go with, I don't drive the car hard often and am looking for a quiet dust free (well less then oem atleast) setup.
My wheels are pretty open so you can see the rotors behind them and it would be nice on the eyes to get the slotted and drilled. I've read that slotted and drilled affect your stopping distance however. Is it really that noticable? I'm assuming it's still pretty safe for street use?

My Ride: 2008 550I LOADED, all options except HUD and NV
That is ridiculous, get drilled or slotted rotors and pads (R1 Concepts and Hawks) and they will run you much less and look waaaaay better and perform better.
