i used the 3m tape along with the polyurathane seal/glue,
an hour later i came back to check, the glue dripped down to the bottom edge and its really visible.
should just heat it up with a heatgun/hairdryer and try to wipe it? would that work?
any ideas? thanks guys

Typically you can wipe it away with acetone (nail polish remover). Also laquer thinner works too, but this will affect your paint on the spoiler. Post pics of how bad it is and maybe we can advise a better fix.

I had the same problem and used acetone to remove the goop. Try sliding a credit card in there and scrape off the excess until you cant see it.

I plan on taking both mine off next weekend to try again, I'm bad at DIY's also lol

the glue is hard. solid
i tried using a knife, razor, methalated spirits, hair dryer, towel. i got most of it off, but made a little scratch on the paint
theres abit of glue left, while i was working on it, it started raining
ill finish it on a sunny day and post some pics!
