If you're getting a replica, I'd go with the one with the cutout. If you're going whole hog and thinking about the actual ACS spoiler, I'd go with whatever is cheaper since I don't think it's worth the premium you pay for ACS.

As for 'tacky'.....obviously I'm biased since that third pic is my car . I always found the E60 was missing something on the front and back ends. While I'm no fan of whale tails and ricey EVO or WRX spoilers, no decklid spoiler at all?...ick. My 2 cents.

Yeah, I'm going to go with the cutout replica. I'm also going to see if the body shop can fill in the ACS sticker indentations with some bonding cement and then smooth it over so when they paint it, you'll never know it's there. If I were to do a decklid spoiler, i would do the simple M5 oem. It's nothing too fancy and overpowering. I like Fantastic5's car. Looks perfect.

Oh and Ed...thanks for posting that gorgeous picture of me on the other thread. VT was kind enough to call out my beautiful physique to the rest of the forum members here. LOL!

I only like the first one because the second one looks like it doesn't cover the window molding completely. Depending on the rest of the mods on your car, I do like the non-notch better though. It looks like it would flow better with minimum mods.

A rear deck lid spoiler? That's funny, because I actually think a deck lid spoiler is much worse. I like the clean look of the trunk without a spoiler. However, the rear spoiler up high on the rear glass is subtle, yet fills in the aggressive lines of the car. I really like the first picture I posted of Axis530's car. This is probably because I have JetBlack too and he doesn't have a rear deck lid spoiler on either.
Actually, now I do have a rear deck spoiler. Will post new pics of the ride after M-TECH kit install.

Definitely Spoiler 1. Spoiler 1 has the cutout for the high mount stop lamp. Not sure if you can even see it on Spoiler 2.

how about the clean look overall? i agree with you on the trunk because to me with the end at an angle it looks good and clean from the back. but i also agree with mikebuzz about the roof spoiler. im not gonna deny that it does look pretty good and it does compliment the shark fin. in my opinion, i like the smooth look without a roof spoiler. it just looks like it flows more and its more luxurious. just my opinion. but if i had to pick, id pick #1 for sure.
