The time has come, car is leaking oil from rocker cover gasket however thought id do it all.
I cant seem to find a DIY for Crankcase-ventilation pipes? Does the complete intake manifold need to come out? Or can it be done without?
Torque settings for rocker cover gaskets and timing cover gaskets?
Help would be greatly appreciated. Doing this all this weekend. Fingers crossed.
thanks

If you are meaning valve cover by rocker than the torgue values are 89in-lb for long bolts and 133 in lb for cap nuts
same for taming covers. You do not need to remove the intake to change vent pipes. You have to remove them anyway when replacing valve cover gaskets.

Yeah diagram 2 the secondary, is this a common leaking problem? Does the manifold need to come out for this? Im trying to fix a leak which I can't find which is causing me cold start idle issues

To replace those pipes you need to remove the manifold. When I had my manifold off I examined those pipes and it seams pritty good condition as the where made with solid plastic for heat resistant. and I do not think they may get cracked. But if you decide to replace them and remove manifold you also need new gaskets for manifold.

The y-hose can fail. Most likely if it's cracked, you will get an "increased emission" error. Also, you might hear a "jet" sound.
I don't know whether it can really cause rough idle at cold starts. But see if the rough idle disappears when the air pump shuts off (and secondary air valves close). If it does, then this may very well be the problem.
