I am on the market for new set of winter wheels. A shop is offering ones that fit 5 series BMW ones but there are 2 different offset (same model/brand).

Which one I should go: 18 or 41? They said the 5 series is up to 25 so I am told to get 18 offset? but my summer rims are 30 offset... I am confused.

41 offset sounds too high, more like an Xi offset. I say go with et18. What size are the wheels?

for RWD model, I
offset should be around 20mm

for AWD model, XI
offset should be around 40
i am looking for 19x8.5, so offset should be 35-40mm

also depends on the width you are getting

Being a former XI owner, the 41 offset they have is for the xi model only or a 3 series. You want the lower of the two. Since these are winter wheels for your car, I would assume same width at all 4 corners? If so, 18 should be fine. If you have a wider rear, you'll want that to be around 30ish...
