Aside from NOT hitting a curb in the first place, I can't see how a stick-on "bumper" will protect a wheel with the weight of a car behind it...I imagine it would compress, tear (or peel away) and then the rim would be damaged anyway!

Interesting concept - but I wonder if it would withstand the kind of impact that would chew the edge of a metal/alloy wheel. What I prefer are the tires with a curb bumper on the sidewall that protrudes enough to provide some feedback before the rim hits the curb. Some Michelins and Contis tires have them.

My Ride: 2006 530xi (Titanium Grey/ Black interior) Debaged, L.e.d. light upgrade throughout. ACS roof spoiler. H&R sport sprigs, Angel eye upgrade, euro sticker, ,matte black grills.
I bumped into some guy with an older m3 at the car wash and he said he had that. I guess it works.
