i once ordered a $250-300 motorcycle tire and they just slapped a label on the tread and shipped it to me....

ohhh was i pissed. glad to hear nothing was damaged.

This is actually how all tires are shipped.. Even tirerack.

Why would you package rubber that is going to be used on the ground?

If the bars are level and symmetrical, there should be no problem. Glad to hear the seller is a stand up guy. Those anti-roll bars are designed to resist hundreds of pound of twist.

I sold my eisenmann to a member here. Boxed it bubble wrapped it and filled it with peanuts and the member said it arrived unbowed and wrapped just like that.... I'm thinking the ups guy took my money and unpacked my item and shipped as is to save $ then pocketed the remainder. The difference in shipping ( box vs no box) is upwards of about 40$!!!! I couldn't prove it of course. The member on this forum was unhappy so I contacted ups and they said that hard to prove. I'll never use my local ups store again after that.
