Ridiculous Shipping from E60 Member
#1
You know what, this is a lesson to those who buy stuff from members here, just beware sometimes. Also, remember that with whatever you do in life try to treat others the way you want to be treated.
Just a few days ago I bought H&R Front sway bars and M5 rear sways from a member here for $200. Fair deal. Well, they arrived today and this is how it was shipped. The packaging was torn to SHIT by UPS. I really hope nothing is damaged.
This is literally how it showed up at my office this afternoon.

Holy shit, that is a terrible packaging job..
However, these sway bars will be subjected to much more force on your car than any UPS ground driver can subject these too. I don't think any damage will be done. Still very rude to send something like this though that you pay good money for

That's just not right....
On the contrary, there are members here who go out of there way to make things right. When I bought my Remus from another member here, it came in a box fully wrapped in bubble-wrap as well as 3-4 large bath towels. I would even say it was a bit of an overkill.

Member stated that it was his brother who dropped it off at UPS and didn't mention to him to have someone box it up and UPS accepted it. He apologized and I give him the benefit of the doubt. Plus, another who posted above is right: I doubt that anything shipping can do will damage these things considering how strong these parts are. Everything fortunately seems ok. Its just that when you get something in the mail like this your first reaction is ANGER.
heh.
