I decided on springs as I couldn't justify the price of coilovers. I have read good things about the eibach pro kit and when I saw photos of e60's on these springs, it seemed like a no-brainer. However, it turns out my ride height doesn't look the same as others for some reason? (perhaps I'm being impatient with the 'settling', although its unlikely)

It would be a bit of disappointment if I were to buy coilovers now, as I have already payed for the springs + installation.

good luck to you then
its kind of a no brainer that coils will be better coz you can adjust height and dampening..
i had a H&R with koni shocks before my coils but nothing compares to my kw v2... IMHO

Alright Mate? Thats the risk in going with springs. Lot's of E60 I've seen ended up with 'rake' look where front is lower than rear. I was in your shoes but ultimately decided on coilovers for full height and ride adjustabiltiy. Give it some time to settle before rush judgement. GL

Car looks great thou

Thanks G530. I'm trying to resist splashing out on the coilovers, so I think I'll do what you suggest and see how it goes.

Have you considered driving around with a dead body in the trunk? That should help to even out the height difference.

I'll be looking out for your updates as I too am leaning towards H&R springs for the time being. I plan on getting Ksports eventually, but probably not until next year. Like others have said, give it some time to settle a bit. Don't expect anything too crazy though.

This is just a silly question, coilovers are a PERFORMANCE suspension system - so if comfort is you goal coilovers are not for you. If handling is your goal, then coilovers meet that goal. Bottom line, ANY coilover system will make the ride stiffer depending on how it's adjusted. The softer you go with coilovers the more bouncy the ride (which to me is way more annoying than a stiffer ride).
