Can someone enlighten me on the brake effect? What's the difference with stock LCi? Cheers

The LCI taillights are sexy because of the rods. Now, when you apply the brakes, the lights behind it lights up, and you can no longer visibly see the rods. With this mod, the brake light is changed to the circle part, and you can always see the rods, even when braking. Not to mention the brake lights are actually brighter now as well

Another thing to note is that with this mod, with the light on at 1 (auto), 3 (parking), and 4 (on), the two bulbs behind the rods are now suppressed so you can better and cleanly see the rods. The videos below will be evident of this.

This will give you a good idea of what is changed:

Notice how the rods are hardly visible once the brakes are applied.

just to make it simple.
the rod becomes the brake light.
so in the day you will see the rod + the rear fog lights on when you press the brake and not the hole light on like my LCI light right now.
at night the rod lights is always on like the LCI but when you press the brake the rods become brighter and uses the rear fog light when braked

I am not sure what you mean by pre-lci? The pre-lci's don't have the rods...

His meaning of Pre-LCI which was moded by LCI tail light with this effect. He wants to do the comparison different in between with OEM LCI.

I am confused pingu. If a pre-LCI car is retrofitted with LCI tails, there's no difference between the operation of the taillights for LCI or pre-LCI.

Not sure why it's relevant to point out pre-LCI and LCI?
