Retrofitted puddle lights on my e61 LCI

My e61 came without the extended light package (which is standard in the US?). Anyway, since I don't have this, I don't got the puddle lights under the wing mirrors aswell. Since I bought myself a set of OEM M5 mirrors with these light, I couldn't just leave them unused.
The mirrors I used are from Pre-facelift M5 (made after 09/05 of course), and i did not change the ECU or anything.
My OEM mirrors had four wires (up/down, side/side, heating and ground), while the new mirrors got three wires. I basically did the same as BLooDs DIY for SA430, but I dit all the rewiring near the KGM module instead.

man i love to see when someones diy helps a bunch of people. Some where, a well skilled car electrician or mechanic is mad and less rich (No offense intended for those of you who make a living out of this). LOL good job on the project. knowledge is power and sharing is caring
