This definitely helped me, only problem is, you have to tap into wires of the mirror motor itself and install your own button. You can't follow the steps of this diagram.
Did you do it this way or you get power from somewhere else ?

The power comes from the innoparts module. Its fairly simple. The hardest part is snaking the wires.

I see. That means you cut the mirror motor wires and connected them to SAM module ? You are using the -ve trigger wire to connect to the new switch ?

Yes sir. two wires from the motor of the mirror get cut off and go directly into the same module. On both doors, and then wire up a switch and wire up the power and you are set. There is options to wire it up to your locking mechanism, but you would need to find another module.

Great info. Do you mean the central locking system module ? The +ve trigger wire goes to central locking module ?

I couldn't wait to see your DIY post on this mod ;-)

Yea, problem is, our cars dont emit the right signal to activate it in the module. I tried a few signals already but i'm going to keep trying to find it.

Unless someone knows which wire controls the Arming feature of our alarm. That'll activate my mirrors to fold when i lock. heh.

Got it. Maybe, we have to wait for Bruce to come up with a solution for that part. By the way, where did you buy the SAM module, ebay ??

yes sir. Ebay Germany.

He already told me this module that's roughly $150 dollars to get should work. I dont really want to spend anymore than i have to. Its just to mimic the locking signal and have it unfold when u hit more the 20/kph. all these damn features when i could have gotten it with an M5. lol

Thanks, Mike. I should be able to afford it - $150, shipping to US included or not ?

Well not sure, but the module from Germany, the Innoparts Sam is $85 shipped from germany. But the extra module you might need to get locking / folding options enabled is another $150. So dont know if its worth it when u can just press the button before you lock up your car.

Also the module does not enable unlock / unfold. only in case some Ahole parks close to you and you unlock your car, the mirrors will fold into it you know?
