If you have Euro Non M5 folding mirrors, then yes, it can work. Our US Non-M5 mirrors doesn't have folding to begin with so you would need mirrors that fold, regardless if they are M5 or Non-M5.

I tried to retrofit the fold a while back but couldn't due to BMW and their BS non-programming standard for US cars. There are two wires, a yellow and white one.
