Retrofit Folding Mirrors

Retrofit Folding Mirrors
Hi all,
I know this has been a popular topic. One that I am looking to retrofit.
I have a 2007 530d LCI with just electric mirrors (no fold, no dim/dip, etc) and have just got hold of 2007 LCI powerfold mirrors. Sadly, at this stage, I don't know whether they are auto dimming and/or puddle lights.
I've read BlooDs excellent DIY, although I feel it does miss some prereq information.
These are my questions / assumptions:
How likely is this to fit with minimal work?
It looks like the mirrors have one plug on the end of the loom (tbc)
If I have to wire, I can pin the existing wires from the old passenger mirror to the correct pins on the KGM.
If I don't replace my current window / mirror switch, I can still code them for fold with key.
Dip function will work if the mirror switch is set to the passenger side, the wiring above is completed and coded
Dipping: Will I need to wire up to the current dipping rear view mirror?
Thanks

All power fold mirrors have auto dim, or visa versa.
You need to do a small rewiring to get these to work. Your existing mirror have four wires, while your new ones have three wires. Remove the plugs from your existing mirrors and mount them on the new ones.

Ok, thanks AWT.
So, remove trim, glovebox, door trim, etc
Remove plug from old mirror, put on to replacement mirror (same colour wires?, the 3 that are there?)
Repin KGM according to BlooDs guide
Code
Drive away all smug

OK. Weather here is pants but I got out today and made a start. Got the drivers mirror changed.
I noted the wire colour from the old mirror, undid the connector on the new mirror, and repinned the 3 wires from the new mirror to the same pins (basically, no white cable now, just red, green and brown). Plugged all back in. At this point, I ran out of daylight for the passenger mirror so though I would just code $430 to the VO and change the KGM module.
Thing is, it doesn't work, no fold, and the mirror doesn't even move under normal operation from the window switch (that is mirror adjustment up / down / left / right).
Hoping it will all kick in to place when I do the other side, but something doesn't feel right.
Any ideas?

Yes, I assumed that was just for the passenger mirror. The DIY is vague on this area. It doesn't seem as simple as just re-pinning the passenger side wires. At the KGM, will I see red, green, brown from the passenger mirror?
Thanks awt
