Hi, im new here and I'm interested in changing my front lights and the back lights of my 2005 545i to the new 2008/2009 LCI front and back lights.

I'm very new to this and i have some questions.

Where can i get the new OEM lights?
How much does it cost?
Will it fit on my bmw?
And does anyone here have these lights for sale?

BTW im located in canada.

Thanks for your help.

You should try a search. There are several lengthy threads discussing how to retrofit the LCI lights onto a pre-LCI car. In a nut shell, if you want to do both headlights, it could get as pricy as $4K+. The headlights alone are over $2K. The taillights are about $600 and then you have to buy a retrofit cable as well as new LCM. The labor involved is extensive as they have to route the wires from front to rear. I believe member r9ndy is doing this so PM him.

If you just want to do the taillights, member bruce_miranda sells a retrofit cable for the LCI taillights for about 165 English pounds I think. He didn't create a retrofit cable for the headlights.

Good luck.

That's what the group buy was for, discounted pricing, but I don't believe there's any going on right now.

Which one would be more worth it?

A pair of LCI tail lights and comes with the retrofit cables at rover active
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-E60-Gen...84969QQtcZphoto

Or a group buy for a pair of LCI tail lights for $540 and Bruce Miranda V5 cables for $400

Also for the head lights (it say comes with a pair) would this be good to buy?
