Folks,

I am planing on changing my fron brake discs and pads and need some advice on re-setting the service interval on the i drive.

I have seen varous threads on sticking the key in and pressing the odometer for 5-10 secs until SRVICE comes up the scrolling through.

I have tried this - and this is what i get.

1. Put key to position 2 (but do not press start button).
2. Press and hold odometer re-set button.
3. After approx 5 seconds a triangle (orange) appears, then disappears.
4. After approx 10 secs I get some info appear e.g 01.00 FGSTNR XP70449.
5. If I scroll through I get 8 messages from 01.00 - 01.08.

At no time do I get the 'SERVICE' message.

Can anyone advise me.

Thanks,

Tim
