Anyone actually buy those replica rims or ones like them? Experience? I was thinking of putting the M6 rims on my car but not sure if its worth it... any suggestions?

most people would recommend not getting replicas to begin with. replicas present some issues. cant beat the quality of oem.
Of course, I'd prefer OEMs, but wow, the replicas are cheap

A set of 19" M6 replicas are just $760.
My biggest concern with replicas would be weight, but the 19s are quite decent at 24lbs each. If that figure is correct, they are a good deal lighter than the OEM 124s.

If you want to guarantee a smooth ride and really feel like you have solid wheels that look great, spend the extra $700 to buy OEMs.
Even if the wheels are just a little off, and you only have a tiny amount of vibration compared to OEMs, is it worth it?
There is also a good market for used OEM #166s, so you can probably sell them down the road for $700 or so to recover most of your initial outlay. Right now, you will be hard pressed to find a set of used OEM 166s. They go quickly.
BTW, I would be happy to sell you my replica #166s from Lake Shore (with rings) for $350 (plus shipping). They are sitting in my garage right now. Maybe they will work with your car (no guarantees).

They are cheap, like mine were, but if the entire car shakes violently at 30mph-80mph, then they will not be such a good bargain.

Instead of condeming the whole set of replica's it would have made more sense (I think) to find out which particular wheel was the troublesome one and take the appropriate action to resolve the matter. There are probably more sets of replicas sold than OEM's. If they were that bad would TireRack or Discount Tires sell them.
Well, it's just our opinion. Replicas are a hit or miss. Some people have had great experience, some haven't. I have been riding on OEM and they are fantastic. No problems what's so ever.
If you want to buy replicas, go for it. What more can we say?
