Hey guys, I just changed my brake pads but did NOT change the sensors. The only problem I'm having is that my brake light in my instrument cluster stays on as if my ebrake was on at all times. I just bought new rims and rotors so I'll taclking that this weekend and hopefully new sensors take care of that. Did it so I could pass inspection. Anywayz, Pics soon, and if anyone knows how to reset that ebrake light I would appreciate it , thanks guys.

Hey guys, I need help with this also! I changed my pads to axxiss deluxe yesterday. I am too getting a brake light constantly on and my iDrive is telling me that my pads are worn and need to be replaced. I used my old sensor because I felt that I did not need to get a new one since it was still working. So next questions is do you always have to change the sensors when you change the pads? Is there a way to clean the sensor? or should I just go and get a new one from Gary? any help would be greatly appreciated.

I assume you have tried to reset it via using the trip meter?

If it wont reset, you will almost certainly need to change the sensor.

Are you going with dustless pads ? Axxis Advanced Deluxe are the way to go !

yes I did the idrive reset, but no effect takes place, everytime I start the car, it tells me that i need to change my brake pads, so the sensor must not be reading that that is a new pad. is it hard to switch out the sensor? I did not look to see if its plug and play? any advice would be greatlty appreciated!
