I've done some searching including Google and can't seem to find replacement lenses for my E60 Headlights. Seems that you can't buy separate pieces for our headlight assemblies? Is this true, or can some one on here point me in the right direction?

I'm a new to the E60's recently upgraded from a 540i Sport. The headlights on my 545i are severely weathered and look sandblasted in some spots. I was hoping to replace just the front plastic with out replacing the whole headlight assembly.

They don't sell the headlights in separate pieces. You best bet is to buff and clean the headlights and they'll look good as new. I think 3m makes a restoration kit.

I'll give it a try, I'm not so sure about cleaning these ones up, they're pretty pitted and look to be slightly fractured on the tops. This was Originally a Florida car and I think the sun got to it...

Yah, give the wetsanding, buff it out method a shot. It might work better than you think.

Plus it'll only take a few bucks to do it.

The way I had done it, I didn't even need to buy anything except for fine sandpaper. Just wetsand it, and buffed it out with turtle wax. Came out looking like new.
