I am considering buying a Remus axle back muffler for my 530i to give it a little more gowl and increase in butt dyno. I can't find many people that have done the same, but it appears that it may have fittment issues, i.e. the tips hanging too low or the tips being larger than stock and just barely fitting the opening in the rear bumper. I hate to cut off my stock tailpipe if the Remus isn't going to look good or fit well. Can anyone add any insight or suggest alternatives? Thanks!

Does Magnaflow make a bolt on system or does it have to be custom made?

for all e60 u need to cut the back muffler and replace with the new exhaust..eisenmann,remus,hamann,rd sport is all bolt on.. u just need to cut the original muffler and just stick the new one.. while, magnaflow u need to weld in order tp replace the original muffler.
remus is good..and nice sound..gud luck bro..

The fitment is a perfect fit on the OEM and M-Tech bumper. Tips are 3.31" double walled and fill the bumper cutouts perfectly without touching/melting the bumper.

Here you go. It's a bad pic, but you can kind of see it.
