My Ride: '05 545i - scheduled for ED pickup in Munich on 7/22!
i don't know about for the 530, but my remus is much lighter than the stock exhaust for my 545.
i almost broke my back trying to lift the stock exhaust, but the remus is a much more manageable 30lb according to my bathroom scale.

Did you happen to weigh your stock can?
however, by looking on realoem, the 545 stock exhaust is larger than the 530 stock exhaust, so your's will most likely be lighter.
