removing spoiler

I've just removed my ACS spoiler and im having trouble getting the left over silicon i used to apply the spoiler on. Most of it came off but there are two round spots i really can't remove. Any idea's on how this can be done? Any help would be grateful.

I've used silicone sealant remover on kitchen cabinets without any problems.I suggest you try on a small area first.

I've used silicone sealant remover on kitchen cabinets without any problems.I suggest you try on a small area first.

In advance of that I recommend you try to physically remove most of the silicone glob by working some nylon fish line - underneath it - back and forth in a sawing motion. After that you may actually be able to rub it off the paint with your finger.

Gas or nail polish remover after sawing as much off as you can with the dental floss. Once removed wash area and apply wax.

I would definitely test it on some hidden part to be absolutely sure it won't stain the paint where it will be so visible.

sounds even better...but i've looked into this and there is know one near me who sells this! I'm going to try another product by AUTOGLYM which apparently does the same trick! Will test it tonight and update this thread for anyone's reference. Thanks for the advice again guys.

I ended up using the autoglym product below and it worked well with a bit of extra effort! It softens the adhesive and breaks it down so its a lot easier to remove. The good thing about this is, after your done removing the adhesive you can use the rest of the bottle to get rid of all those small tar spots from your tyres. Works great!
