Is there a DIY HOWTO on removing the iDrive Rotary Dial?

I wanna replace mine with an aftermarket ///M one, and also the Shifter knob with a ///M one.

The OEM ones look a bit worn out and scratched

Just pull up on it. No screws, nuts, bolts, glue or anything. Just wrap your fingers around trying to get a little bit of your fingers underneath and pull up.

Works like a charm!
