My Ride: 2007 BMW 550i w/SMG - JetBlack - Dinan Software - Dinan Exhaust - Anthracite Trim - Anthracite Headliner - Sport Package
Talking

Thanks to VT I finally removed the two sets of resonators after the cats today and the sound is amazing!!

I have had the Dinan exhaust since the day I took delivery of the car which is almost one year old in two days
Everyone comments the it sounded perfect but I got used to it and needed it louder.

The cool thing is that the tone stayed the same now its just 25% louder

You guys it was the best $100 bucks that I spent on the car so far

How is the sound inside cabin? Did you removed all 3 resonators or only 2 tubular ones?

JB,
Because of you freed0m is now going to remove his two cannister resonators as well. I told him to remove all the resonators when he got his RDSport quads, but he's a girly man. He was afraid it would be too "loud."

I don't mind my exhaust being loud at all so this is so good to hear that you've had a significant increase in sound output. I recall a thread specifically related to removing the resonators and some had reported no difference in sound from stock after the removal, hmmm weird I'm going to be heading down and getting all three resonators removed per board members recommendations and also get the RDSport dual exhaust from another member on this board. Can't wait! Did you happen to get any errors via iDrive after removing all three?

DO IT!! It was worth it if you do not mind a louder car

You guys it was the best $200 bucks that I spent on the car so far, including the multiple tanks of 100 octane gas I got addicted to.
I am assuming you have the single dinan muffler and that it has a single inlet pipe configuration like the stock muffler(s)? If this is the case, how did you tie the dual pipes into the one larger diameter pipe? Better yet a pic would be great and a SOUND CLIP even greater.
