Removed my resonator the other day...

Before I go to Active Autoworke's again, I had my resonator removed.
What do you think?
Personally, I like how it's not so loud and intrusive as getting a full muffler done.

Is removing a resonator a DIY or is there welding and stuff involved? I don't even know were the resonators are...
