removed front seat error code resulted

i removed the front seats and unplugged the yellow harness and the lil red black one. i did turn the ingition on between replugging them. i got the retraint error code. i disconected neg terminal. is there anything i can do or does it need a quick trip to the dealer

The error needs to be cleared at the dealer or with someone who has the right equipment.

Yep, pay the stealer , i've been there too, as many others i suppose

Quote the dealer:
" Don't unplug things with the ignition on"

damnt hats beat i was just there getting an oil change yesterday. pain in the balls these cars. its fine to drive right? just the annoying message

ok yea i unplugged them to get more room to pull back that damn carpet to gain excess to speakers

Suede headliner/ trunk, 3 way front speakers, four 8" subs in rear shelf, ACM, iPod dock in ash tray using gateway 500 with MP3 text and video on screen, MRTM aluminum pedals/ door pins, 10 farad cap, sound processor, line conditioner, 2 amps ( 4x100 and 2x200)

Having the door open in an E60 is equivalent to having the key on in a Honda. Removing the seat will through a hard SRS code which will not self reset. You can unplug certain things that will have an error that will self reset when conditions return to normal. Not the airbags or anything related to the air bags though. Just to be safe it is best to disconnect the battery before unplugging things in our cars.
