Remote Start
So I finally had time today to play around with the setting options and I discovered something pretty dope..
Its seems as though by adding the RS module, I've given the car comfort access! Let me explain..
What happens is I remote start...go to the car...unlock via key FOB .. get in and drive off.. keeping the Fob in my pocket... never having to insert the FOB into the slot. Comfort access, all without the little door handle sensors to auto unlock of course....but still good enough I think.
So some may be thinking cant someone walking by get in and take off...Not TRue.
To remote start her you hit lock 3X, she starts...then remains locked.
So what if someone breaks the window to get in....no problem...
I left the window open and remote started...reached in and pulled the handle open.
The car shut down...realizing it was not opened via FOB. Pretty smart module.
Just some valuable info I wanted to share. HOLLA

Aight, settle down people..
Just got my FLRSbm1 FedEx today..
Literally, plug & play as stated. Total install took me maybe 35 minutes.
And yes, for my PreLci 2007 ......
Ayo, xonreh... I didn't really play with it much, but I can't figure out the secure takeover delay. The default setting is 45 seconds. Does that mean after I remote start ....go to the car .... Hit unlock... I THEN have 45 seconds to drive off without inserting the fob?

Has anyone been able to do this on a regular key (non-push start)? (2006 530xit)
I have installed a remote starter with bypass module, the bypass module does read my spare key as it is shown on the instrument cluster when the remote start button is pressed...
but it does not turn power on to the whole cluster (all lights should light up, airbag, engine light, etc. until the engine is started)
It does crank, and there is 12volt on the " Green / Gray (+) Low Current (for Ignition Sense Only) 41-pin connector, PIN 8 CAR ACCESS SYSTEM, " wire.
So i'm stuck and i'm assuming there is no way to simulate the key being turned to the ON position?
Anyone been able to sort this out before I give up and rip it all out?
