I assume it has to do with reprogramming your car's computer, but what exactly does it do?
Does this affect you car's warranty at all?
What is the horsepower gain and torque gain?
These questions would be based on an 06 550i.
Can someone break it down for me??

The power gain on a 550 would be about 15% thats my guess.

For BMW petrol engines you're looking at no more than 10% HP increase, if that.
