I am thinking of engine remap for 530xd at the company 'evolve' based in Luton (UK). Basically they can increase Bhp from 231 to 295, and increase torque from 400Nm to 700Nm (!) [although for XD transmission survival Torque improvement might need to be limited to lower values]. Did anybody in the forum did get his car remap by these folks? I would be happy to hear any advice or feedback or any remap experience [effect on fuel consumption, reliability, driving experience etc... thanks.

not used those guys but you will be happy with the results
i have a 530d, and its had its second remap, now got 302 bhp, but 502 lb/ft of torque, and dont worry your gearbox will handle that no problems.

i used jason at B&W in hounslow.
mpg is up also

good luck.

I guess you need better fuel economy to help pay towards the additional cost in rubber?
