Hey everyone,

I recently saw a couple pics of red angel eyes on a few e60s. Particularly weisslichts augenrot (thats what they call red ( )? I want these so bad, but theres no way they're legal haha.

I don't know much about headlights, (or anything for that matter, still learning, only had my e60 for a month!), so I was wondering if anyone has ever had the red led rings and/or eyebrows with a high power white bulb? Do you think that would give me enough visibility to drive at night and might cut me some slack if I were to get pulled over? Is this even possible or am I talking out my ass? haha

Any and all helps, opinions, and suggestions is appreciated!

Thanks

pm member DKNewYork. He has done this before and it looked sweet. I think blackdove has done this as well. However, it's not worth it IMO.

Thanks man. What makes it not worth it for you? Don't like the look or is it a lot of work?

I like the look, and it's not a lot of work. I just don't think it's worth the risk of getting pulled over for.

Red Angel eyes are easy. You just swap out the bulb. Red eyebrows are a lot of work. You have to cut out the circuit board and replace it with red ones. When I drive, I disconnect the eyebrows.

My M5 with red angel eyes and eyebrows.

Here is my friends E90 330xi with red LED angle eyes. He also has blue LED fogs and no problems here in NY.
