Stopped by Bimmer PhD today. Honestly, was NOT impressed. Felt like I was not being treated adequately (maybe I still give off some New York vibe
). The brake light came on and the guy wouldn't even bother taking a look at the sensor. "You've gotta leave the car here, we will get to it when we have time, probably needs a bunch of stuff" - that kind of talk. I don't have much appreciation for this type of treatment - I'm not a 19 yo girl, who just got a 328 as a birthday present. I know these cars well enough to know what needs to be done and how much it takes - time- and work-wise. I can see why so many people DIY in Cali. Anyway, hopefully, I'll sell the car soon, so it won't be an issue anymore. Wish me luck.
