Can anyone recommend a set of Angel Eyes for a LCI model (2009) that I can buy in the UK? I'm looking for something that will compliment the Xenon's (i.e. approx the same colour. Not too blue or not too bright). In addition, I want all the same functionality as I have with OEM. I read some posts that said some AE upgrades change the behaviour of when they turn on and off.
Any recommendations?

1: Getting custom work done to your headlights from OSS : https://5series.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=84777 (Very Spendy, but the BEST, WITHOUT A DOUBT!)
2. Installing HID H8 bulbs/ballasts
3. LED H8 bulbs, similarly priced to HID's
4. Just swapping your H8 bulbs with another set of halogens (Either Mtech, GP Thunders, or PIAA etc) - Cheapest, only looking at $25-50 (Or 100+ if you go with PIAA)

I am not sure about the LED's but the rest will not cause any warnings if you granted they work and are put in properly.
Good luck

From what others have posted here, the LED's aren't supposedly any brighter than halogens, just more expensive
The HID's are much brighter.
As for Halogen's, no one is making a brighter than stock H8. The higer the temperature, it is the less bright it will be. I had 7500K GP Thunders and just switched to 4750K MTEC's, which are brighter during the daytime.
At night when your Xenon's are on, there is less power send to the AE's so, they will be less bright and less white. Finding are perfect match when the AE's are on is very difficult, since the color temp is at full power, not dimmed.
I'm happy with the MTEC's. I also changed my H3 turning bulbs to MTEC's so they would match the AE's.

I also wanting to upgrade my AI bulb. I don't have the worry of warning messages as I use a relay. My AI don't dim when the low beam is activated. Can any recommend the best LED bulb to use?
