I got mine from BMW of Morristown for $1,500 shipped (w/PDC) but there was a sale going on.
I can recommend an excellent body shop in Douglasville that specializes in classic restorations and late model imports - they did an outstanding job on my kit paint/install. They don't take credit cards though. PM me if you are interested.

Piggyback away! Cheapest Online I've been able to find is BMW Parts Unlimited, which has the kit for $1601 shipped for the LCI kit w/o PDC, or $1442 shipped w/PDC BMW Parts Unlimited. Anyone ever order from them or have a cheaper/better source?
www.getbmwparts.com has a good price on the pre-LCI kit, but unfortunately to upgrade a PDC to LCI you have to buy all the sensors (around $1k). I was considering getting a LCI non-PDC and drilling the holes, but it would be so much better to find the right kit (if anyone still has one available).
