Phil, why did you buy new weather stripping? Didn't you just get that new CF wrapped roof spoiler? Can't even see it now. Or was it THAT bad.

It was so bad that everytime I washed I'd have pieces come off, it looked really bad. I was gonna put the spoiler on, so I decided I would just replace it so I wouldn't have to remove the spoiler if I replaced trim down the line. Seems like its a known issue, alot of the e39's have the same problem. THe heat in Texas just dries out the trim like crazy. I have the same problem on the front roof trim.

Is the trim at the top of the windshield also replaceable? Both of mine have gone bad, but the front is definitely worse than the rear
