Count me in as someone who just "doesn't get it".

I can see a benefit if there is a slight problem with clearance of the calipers on an aftermarket wheel but to me, if that were the case on my car, I'd be looking for a different wheel.

I subscribe to the theory that changing the specs of such a finely engineered vehicle -- for the sake of looks and questionable performance gains -- isn't a great idea.

Cars seem to have better handling when you widen them a little bit. I talked with the dealer and he has spacers as well and could tell a difference. It is legal here in Germany and does not void warrenty by having them. Besides, sometimes if you get new wheels at a different size it will require you to get spacers.
What part of belgium are you in? We travel to Brugge a lot and love it over there. Even considering buying a place there.

not sure if i would still pursue the 10mm spacer...it appears that it would hardly be noticeable...the following is a picture of my stock rears...

I have to do it. It just looks better from the pictures I have seen. Plus it will be that little difference that I know makes mine different.

Did you ever install the rear wheel spacers?? If so, where did you get them?? 10 or 12mm?? Anyone else??

Also, the factory rear deck spoiler?? Invisible shield?? Costs and installation.

Thx,

gonzo
