Default Rear turbo coolant return hose removal

So long story short I overfilled the coolant reservoir and the rear turbo coolant return line exploded. I have an XI model and so far have taken the down pipes off and gotten the front facing part out. I can’t seem to find pictures of where it connects to on the top side of the turbo but some have said it goes to the block?

fairly old post but did you get this done? i am in the process of needing to change one of my turbo colant lines, I think I am going to replaace all 4 when i am there. were you able to do this wthout having to pull the subframe or is this a must to remove the subframe?

Default Problem solved!

I did indeed change the rear turbo coolant return line. You can leave the subframe on for this one but you will be feeling the bolts blind with your hands. Steps were
1. Remove underbelly trays
2.disconnect exhaust from down pipes
3. remove front right wheel and wheel liner
4. remove down pipes and you should be at the turbos. I disconnected an outlet and pushed it out of the way to help.
5. Used my phone for video on where the hidden bolts were.
6. Replacing where they connect to the turbos is easy but the other connectors are all hidden so feeling with your hands helps a lot.
7. after replacing put the pipes back on but leave them loose because they will spin and that will help you hook the exhaust back up.

It’s not too bad. Just used ratchets and extensions. Put my car on ramps and completed it over the weekend.

My return hose after…

You can see The Four hoses with heat shield (two for each turbo) one is coolant and the other I think is oil.

Tried to get better angles from an old video.
