bet that title got you.

when i fitted the rear sports seats from a 2007 M5, i cannot see where the "female" part of the seat belt (where you clip the male shoulder strap into)

there are 2 ,2" x 3" cut outs in the seat , but when i poke the female ends through there is nothing to stop them falling back under the seat...am i missing some sort of retaining clips? at the moment i have them poking out from the rear of the seat (back) like most other cars have them

im sure they poke out of the cut outs but need to know how they are retained, and do 2 come out of 1 slot? ie the side and centre belt out of 1 hole?
pics would be good, thanks guys.

regards
david.

right....beat you lot too it

ordinary seats (ie not sport leather) have floopy female seat belt clips (like i had origanally) tucked at the back where the seat back meets.
sports leather (as came out of the M5) have female clips on a spring metal bracket (to hold them in place through the holes in the seat base)
so i bought 2 spring metel female clips and hey presto....as it should be cost was ?20 plus vat.
job done.
