rear red reflectors
Im going to the dealer tomorrow and i can buy the rear pieces for like 11 dollars a piece but they want like 90 for both and the install. Id rather put that money in the gas tank. Anyone have a DIY for these reflectors?...is it easy? Because i suck at these things. Pay the extra money and dodge the headache or sack up and do it myself?
btw i searched for rear reflectors, red rear reflectors and couldnt find anything in the first few pages of the search. so any help is appreciated.

This was the simplest mod I've ever done...to my old 530xi.
If you can do those license plate lights yourself, you can certainly tackle this. Use the floss technique....easy as pie.

$90??? WTF? I cant believe the parts guy didnt offer to come out there and put'em in for you... This take 2 seconds. Cover a butterknife with a tshirt or soft cloth and pop the cover out and snap the reflector in... Seriously, this is something a parapalegic could do... Well maybe if his teeth were long enough.
