I want to change my rear diffuser on the Mtech bumper on my 550. I've searched on the subject but never came across definitive answers or a DIY for either the diffuser or rear bumper removal. I've been told I need to remove the bumper in order to get at the diffuser, but I'm not sure. Has anybody done this?

Don't have the rear diffuser but I think you have to remove the bumper to remove the OEM diffuser. There was a member here who zip-tied it so it can be removed easier.

When I had Eurorev replaced my diffuser, I don't remember them removing the whole rear bumper, I think they are just clipped to the bumper. I'm maybe wrong.

whole bumper's gotta come off if you want to replace the entire diffuser. In the case of those CF covers then yea, You can simply slap those suckers on. It's pretty simple. I did it by myself, but as always having another body makes life much easier

You have to take the bumper off. If you can take the diffuser off without taking the rear bumper down it means the rear bumper was not mounted the "OEM" way (with proper brackets).

Hope this thread helps

Thanks for the links. So is there a parts list somewhere of what I need to put it all back together?
