I got the CF "style" ones, and I think they look great (and only cost $40). I have heard that the real ones can yellow over time and/or start to experience some peeling or something. Mine are completely trouble free.

If it's only $100 more, I would just save up and get a real one. That isn't much of a savings. I would understand if the price was a much greater margin like new Eibachs compared to coilover. And honestly, if you're into that whole carbon fiber thing, unlike myself, you shouldn't go cheap on it. Get the real deal like flyingpuck says.

So.. my car is alpine white and I'm about to install the m-tech kit with a cf front splitter.... was curious if I should save $100 and get the fake cf printed front kidney grills or spend more and get the real carbon fiber grills..... does anyone that has the printed cf (fake) grills notice much of a difference or are they really going to stand out as phony next to the CF splitter?
Adam - Did quad_m send you the m-tech kit? Or you ended up buying from some place else. In any case, have fun installing it and show us some pix when its done.
