in case you're not aware, the e60 lci cars(2008-2010) have a different angel eye setup, and are brighter than 2007 and down.
also, as shown above, the mtec are not that visible in the daytime.

actually, Rdash makes H8 led's for the e9x models....so the OP may very well have an LCI....but AFAIK, rdash led ae's throw error's on e60 LCI's..

but if that's the OP's e60 in his avatar pic, then he does have a pre-lci...

They didn't for me Gene, they just sucked. I sent them back to jlevisw and told him they should remove the description that says they are BRIGHTER than OEM. I wonder if they ever did...But you are right his avatar profile is def a pre-lci...my bad on the HID suggestion.

I have the Mtec V2 as well and it's the same story. Bright at night or during dawn/dusk but barely noticeable during the day. As far as LEDS go it's as good as it gets. If you want bright, spend the extra cash to get Orion v2s. You will NOT be disappointed.
Orions will be my next mod when summer rolls around. I can't wait!

Same story here
Nice and visible at night, barely visible during daytime (n)
I wish I can get F10 brightness
Even the new 2011 3-series AE are gorgeous!!!

.. So '04 5 series is basically hopeless..?

I honestly don't like the look of the new F10/E92-3 AE's..they are bright, but they are too blue/purple, but they are bright...I still think Orion V2's look the best, but cutting open the headlight housing isn't for everyone...

aside from orion's there are is also an LS3 kit, it's advertised for 3 series, but it's an H8 bulb so might be worth checking out as an alternative to Orion's....you still have to cut the headlights open to install tho...what I like about the ls3 kit more than the orion's is that both halo's are complete circles...

http://www.bavarianx...t_p/ls3-bmw.htm (this kit would be for LCI e60's with xenon headlamps, since it's an H8 plug and play harness)
