defiantely go for the R20's look way better and they do remind me of the Asanti wheels more than the Alpinas. Check out the custom gallery, several people have some amazing Asanti wheels with a deep dishes also.

M5 w/ R20s

I think they look good. I like my R10s better though. Too many spokes for my taste.

Tomwid:

Thanks! That's what I needed to see. I think they all look good...R20's are just my preference. I think the R10's are definately sportier and the R20's I consider classic or more conservative. Thanks again for the pics!

Yeah, I forgot about the Asanti's. They look especially nice on Porsches as well.

The R20s look great on that M5. Gives me the impression of turbine engines on a jet plane....

Yup. That's what I meant earlier...kinda a nice tie-in to the BMW roundel don't you think? No one may get it...but it's a cool idea anyway.

Good point....I didn't even think about it that way. You suppose that's the reason behind Alpina's wheels?

I don't know if Alpina thought that deep into their design. I was hoping Tomwid could send more pics of that M5 with the shots taken at an angle. The side angle is not my favorite shot of the wheels (or the car). If you notice the M6 shots are all semi-three-quarter...and emphasize the depth of the wheels. I'm wondering from where Tomwid got his photos?

Yeah, I really like them...despite the weight. I'm not too concerned about the weight...I've got too many tickets right now to be going too fast! Hopefully it does not affect the driving dynamics too much. I tried contacting a Radenergie distributor...but have not heard from them. I'm hoping they will even fit on an E60.
I purchased my R10's from Charles at Wheel Autohaus. http://www.wheelautohaus.com/

Charles was very helpful and a pleasure to do business with.

Contact him and he will be able to confirm fitment for the e60.

I got my wheels from Charles as well. Great service and probably the best prices around.
