I was considering doing the lower grill not the kidney grill's.

Has anyone done this or see it?

I like that look on Bentleys and Jags, but maybe not so much on the E60.

I was thinking about something similar. I am glad you posted the pic. I don't like it as well as I thought I would--on "my" car. I was thinking of using the screen material on Z06s though. I wonder if pieces similar to those of the Kidneys could be fit "below" and how that treatment would look. Maybe I'll gin something up using Photoshop if I get the chance.

I would not go for those

I don't know if it's standard on the MBZ Kompressor, but there's is one car by my work that had it on the lower air dam. The car is white and the mesh grills are black. I don't know if I like it on the E60

I have a mesh but its blacked out but with is what came on the Hamann front bumper.. much different then what you were looking at this suits much better

IMO, uck!!! :'( Make the car look cheap. No kidney grilles, no Bimmer.
