I've had mine on since August. I bought the rotors and Hawk pads from Michael. No vibration issues and no noise. Just use enough stop squeal and bed them properly.
100% agree with michael, Michael will always answer our questions and always willing to go
Out of his way to help anybody with anything..
Good job buddy, and you are in good hands with michael, like what he said r1 concepts rotors are pretty good, get the premiums.. Plus we are lucky to have someone like Michael on this forum..

I dont think I got a PM. Let me check again. Also, email is always the best way so I don't have to rely on other people's messaging system to get to me. sales@acuteperformance.com
Hello-
Can anyone give feedback on how the R1Concepts with Hawk pads do as far as brake dust is concerned? I'm sure that has been asked and answered but I perform a search and find nothing. I don't care about stopping power as much as I care about rotor warpage and brake dust.
I have OEM rotors on my '08 535i with Pagid Deluxe pads and as much as I like the little to no dust, they warped my rotors after about 12,000 miles (not too bad I suppose). From what I understand the Pagids are so hard that they built up a lot of heat so much so that the factory rotor warps even under moderate braking??? I don't know if that is a fact. I had my bushings up front checked by a mechanic who claims that they are all fine and confirms that the rotors are warped.
Any other suggestions with some PROOF would be much appreciated.

What brake dust???
When I had OEM pads, I would have to wipe the wheels down every 4 days. With the Hawk HPS pads, I don't bother and just wait until the car needs a wash.

Agreed with the comments below. Brake dusts are significantly reduced. I have the R1 Premium D/S rotors and Hawk HPS pads.
Grease where the metals contact (a lot to prevent any squeals) and bed the brakes properly. You will be happy with the setup and Michael's customer service as well.
