Just as a warning. I've been through a nightmare with this... Have an 05 545i that i put the stoptech crossdrilled slotted rotors on. Car developed a vibration soon after when breaking. LONG STORY short... 2 new sets of brake pads, rotors turned (yes, you can turn slotted cross drilled rotors), rotors replaced twice (second time by stoptech R&D dept) with yet another set of pads. Replaced plastic hub centric rings with metal. Checked bushings, they looked fine, figured f'it and replaced them too. Finally went back to BMW OEM rotos and all vibration gone.

It was almost a year of headache and mucho $$$.

Wow. Here's how that transaction would've gone w/ R1Concept. You have vibration and think it's rotor? Have a mechanic check them out, fax me the paperwork showing they are warped, I contact R1Concept, they send you a new set of rotors.

Like I've been telling people, R1Concepts customer support and how they have handled issues for me is top notch! I've been working with them a long time and we fully respect each other.

I have MAJOR braking vibration with the R1 Concepts in the front and I've had them for less than a year. You can see them in my sig pic. Got em from Trinity but I don't think that matters. What should I do?

Talk to Trinity and have them warranty it. Are you sure the problem is with the rotors?

Got mine from trinity as well.

I think the issue is that they sell a rotor that they claim fits the 545 & 550 but if you check OEM there is a differance. I've been meaning to contact stoptech about it.

Also, stoptech has offered to give me my money back. They have been excelent - i just haven't bothered driving up there to return them yet. Don't reall have the time...

Another good point about R1Concept then, any warranty issue postage is paid to ship to and from
