Someone from this forum gave me their number when I was doing research to get my thrust arm bushings replaced. I talked to the owner of the shop, Chad I think, and he sounded cool and very knowledgeable. I decided to DIY it (as you know) because it made sense to do the whole arm. And it did not really require special tools or coding.

I am really disappointed with George though. He came highly recommended from a very good friend of mine.

I've actually gone to a afew Gerry's meets. I guess we just keep missing each other.

With help from my awesome forum buddy John, we were able to swap out the rotors and pads this past weekend. I went with just the cross-drilled ones because it resembles the M5 brake rotors better than the cross-drilled with slots. The fronts were replaced with Hawk HPS pads and they bite very nicely after being bedded.

Look great! I have a set of cross-drilled rotors waiting to be installed. I also plan to get the Hawk pads. How hard is the DIY?
