My Ride: 2006 525I
Post

Hey all, I found a set of wheels here locally that are on an M5 but I wanted to ask a question about the fitment.
I have a 2006 525i and the tire size im looking to purchase are 255/35/20 front and 285/30/20. Should i experience any rubbing on normal driving? Also I see moslty everyone prefers 245-35-20 instead of 255-35 in the front, would that cause any rubbing in the front? Thnx everyone...

The tires should be 245/30 and 275/25 on 20" wheels.

Also check out the ET's.

Thnx for the response, I guess an M5 has wider body thats why the guy im buying the 285's from reports no rubbing issues. So I guess the widest I can go on the rear on a non M5 (525i) is 275/30 ? thnx all for the help.

Which wheels are you looking to buy?
Do you know the widths and offsets?

Yep. It sure will in the front on a non-M car.

20X8.5 front and 20X10 rear. They are on a local M5 so the offset should be okay, dont know exactly what it is. My concern was with the width of the wheels as they are 255/35 and 285/30 I see everyone that has a non M5 goes with 245/35 and 275/30 I was concerned that they maybe too wide and cause some rubbing. Thnx
