yeah active steering is very noticable in low speed turning - you don't need to turn the steering wheel all the way around when you drive around a city block or when you park.
harder to notice at high speed on the highway, except you don't get as much feedback as older bmws.

ok i c so basically 7 series seats. the reason why i ask is cause bmw messed up my order someone else took my car and the new 1 just doset have the active steering and the comfort seats.

I don't care for active steering, so no loss there in my mind, however, the comfort seats is another issue. If they weren't such a big factor in your comfort level while driving I'd say screw it, but they are. Reorder the car with these seats and have the dealer knock off some more money for screwin up. Did you go to Hassel? I almost went there, but went with Rally instead. They were much cheaper since they do 10x more volume than Hassel.
